 Aquatic Invasive Species Control via Water Management

 Specifically, New Zealand mud snails (Potamopyrgus antipodarum, NZMS) were successfully removed from infested waters employing hydro cyclones.  All three sizes of snails were removed: even neonates, the smallest of the life forms.  NZMS are currently found in the Northwest USA and states bordering the Great Lakes.
