Alkalinity Enhancement of Fish Culture waters
A limestone-based fluidized bed system raises the alkalinity and pH of acid-impacted source water. In some applications it is beneficial to add carbon dioxide to overcome the dissolution rate of limestone. This system was tested and proven at two hatcheries in the USA.
